Gaynor Armitage FCA BSc(Hons)
Having left Giess Wallis Crisp LLP after 23 years service (13 as a partner), Gaynor realised her ambition of setting up her own practice in early 2021. Her experience and extensive financial knowledge coupled with her personable and professional approach to accountancy is a winning formula when assisting both corporate and personal clients.
Gaining a BSC (Hons) Degree in Mathematical Engineering at Loughborough University of Technology, she enjoyed working in the aviation engineering industry before retraining in accountancy. Qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1993, she now holds a Fellowship.
Her expertise is plentiful and she assists clients who are sole traders, owner-managed limited companies and PLCs from all types of business. Her engineering background means that she has strong computer and analytical skills, but is able to talk to clients in plain English with no unnecessary jargon.
Outside of the office she is a keen drummer and can be seen playing with her 2 main bands, Sorry Not Sorry, and System’s Gone Down, at various venues and festivals. She is also a motorcycle enthusiast, having been riding bikes since she was 19. She is certainly not your stereotypical accountant!
